  • Dr.
    Bill Paruolo
    M.D.

Bill Paruolo, or “Dr. Bill” as his patients call him, was born in New York but has lived in Texas for nearly 30 years now. He graduated from Baylor University with his Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and then from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston earning his Medical Degree. He did his pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma before opening his practice in The Colony in 1999. Dr. Bill is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics; currently a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Denton County Medical Society.

Dr. Bill has been active in many different facets of our community. He is a Mentor for Lewisville ISD and Frisco ISD’s Health Science program. Dr. Bill served as the Chairman for the Department of Pediatrics at Trinity Medical Center and a member of the Committee of Performance Improvement. When Trinity Medical Center became physician owned Dr. Bill was on the Governing Board lending his talents to assist with Baylor Hospital systems purchase of the hospital

Dr. Bill’s philosophy is simple: treat every child as if it were his own. This is something that he knows may seem pandering, but he takes it to heart. There is no vaccine that he offers that he would not or has not given to his own children, no treatment that he would not offer to his own should it be necessary, or fail to listen to each parent’s concerns as if he were listening to a complaint from his own child. As a parent of six (that’s right, SIX kids!) he understands the concerns of a parent first hand. He can empathize with the parent whose child does not feel well, and he can understand all the trials and tribulations that go along with raising a child. When a parent talks with him about how their child is developing, or how their child is ill, they know that Dr. Bill understands what they are talking about.

Dr. Bill is married and not only has a beautiful wife, but they enjoy life together with their six children. They live in the area and enjoy spending time together, vacations at the beach, and staying active in their church.

  • Harry "Dr. Pete" Stellman
    IV
    M.D.

Harry “Doctor Pete” Stellman IV, M.D.

Dr. Stellman, better known as “Dr. Pete,” grew up in and graduated high school in Port Lavaca, Texas, then attended college at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. He completed medical school at Texas Tech University School of Medicine, followed by his pediatric residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. He obtained his board certification in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine and moved to The Colony, Texas in the summer of 2002 to join Dr. Bill Paruolo’s growing practice. Dr. Pete and Dr. Bill are both affiliated with Baylor Medical Center Frisco and Texas Health Resources Plano Presbyterian.

Dr. Pete stays active in his community by enjoying local shows and sports games, as well as guest-speaking at prenatal classes, childcare groups and the occasional school club meeting. He also mentors local high school and college students interested in medical careers.  By letting these students witness and participate in “a day in the life” of a pediatrician, he hopes to give them a sense of the challenge, reward, and just plain fun that he himself feels everyday in his practice. As Dr. Pete says: “It’s the best job in the world!”

Dr. Pete describes his time outside of work as “doing whatever my family planned for me.”  He is quite proud of his twin sons, both now in college, and is still kept quite busy with the numerous activities his high school daughter and his wife have arranged. Between high school extracurricular activities and the “honey-do list” around the house, he enjoys (brief) visits to the gym, the occasional video game, catching a good movie, and trying to keep his old Grand Cherokee in working order.
